(Patria) - After a van owned by BiH citizens was set on fire before the start of the match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and host Montenegro on Friday as part of the Nations League, the association of fans of the Montenegrin national team "Ultra Crna Gora" launched a campaign to collect funds to buy a new vehicle. The City of Podgorica then joined the campaign.
The Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković, first thanked the Montenegrin fans for initiating the campaign, and then announced that the city administration would also join.
"With renewed apologies to our friends from Bosnia and Herzegovina for yesterday's van burning, the City of Podgorica will support the fundraising campaign to buy a new one!" he briefly announced on Twitter.
Let us remind you, the official match between the two teams passed without problems and in a good atmosphere, and the attention of the public was also drawn to the amusing "provocation" by Montenegrin fans who chanted "burek with cheese", which, as numerous Bosnians and Herzegovinians confirmed in many comments on social networks, is actually unacceptable.
