Grabar-Kitarović: Croatian services working to clarify Mektić's allegations

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Commenting on the allegations by Bosnia and Herzegovina's Security Minister Dragan Mektić that the SOA armed members of the Salafi movement in the neighbouring country to corroborate the claims of the Croatian president about thousands of extremists in BiH, Grabar-Kitarović said she did not wish to comment on those allegations at all, N1 reports.

"The services are working on it. Croatian citizens must know that the services protect them from threats and act lawfully," the Croatian president said.

Responding to a question about how it is possible for private individuals to drive a consul's car, Grabar-Kitarović passed the ball to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

"I know nothing about that. I cannot deal with technical issues regarding how vehicles are registered at consulates. It is absolutely not right, but you must ask the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs about that," the president said.
