GP Izačić: Due to bad weather conditions in Croatia, traffic banned for freight vehicles

(Patria) - There is slushy and trampled snow on the roads in the higher regions of our country. We highlight the sections: Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac-Ključ, Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar, Glamoč-Mlinište, Livno-Šuica-Kupres, Posušje-Jablanica and Strmica-Bosansko Grahovo-Drvar. On other sections, the road is mostly wet, and we draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or rocks. We advise drivers to drive with maximum caution and remind them that having winter equipment is legally mandatory.

Due to works, traffic is suspended in the Jasen tunnel (Prozor-Jablanica). Passenger and smaller freight vehicles travel via the bypass around the tunnel, while freight vehicles over 7.5 tons (with the exception of buses) are directed to alternative routes: Mostar-Široki Brijeg-Posušje-Tomislavgrad-Kupres-Bugojno and Mostar-Sarajevo-Busovača-Novi Travnik-Bugojno.

Construction works on the roundabout are being carried out on the main road Klašnice-Laktaši, due to which passenger vehicles and buses are redirected via the bypass through Laktaši, while freight traffic is redirected to the highway.

Due to works, traffic is also slowed on the road routes: Stupari-Živinice, Živinice-Banovići, Drvar-Bosansko Grahovo, Rogatica-Ustiprača, Gromiljak-Blažuj and Šuica-Tomislavgrad.

At the GP Izačić border crossing, due to bad weather conditions in Croatia, traffic is banned for freight vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers. At border crossings, waiting times are no longer than 30 minutes.
