A Gentleman in a Humanitarian Action: Goals by Children and Željo for 40,000 KM

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The humanitarian-sports spectacle "A Gentleman on a Humanitarian Mission" and the match between the first team of FK Željezničar and 100 boys and girls gathered into one team, will surely be the main topic in our Bosnia and Herzegovina for a long time to come.

Thousands of messages of support, hundreds of children's smiles, joy, a few tears of happiness, a plethora of goals, beautiful moments, and even more beautiful memories marked the rainy Sunday night for all those who were part of the "A Gentleman on a Humanitarian Mission" project.

Someone wrote: "Only when I looked at the pictures did I see that it was actually raining," and it was indeed so, because nothing could stop the boys and girls from giving their all, to score goals for humanitarian purposes and thus help.

They scored seven, one they dedicated to our project manager Jasmin Ligata, who conceived this event, running into his embrace, and with heavy hearts, they allowed Željo to score only three, and each of those goals, and even one save, meant that one of the sponsors, of which there were many, would pay a certain amount of money into the fund for the treatment of BiH citizens by the Pomozi.ba Association.

Today, we can proudly say that for this fund, through joint efforts, thanks to the goals of the boys and girls, the goals of Željo, Zak's save, ticket sales, and individual donations, more than 40,000 KM have been collected.

Thank you for showing your empathy and helping those who need it most. This money will be spent transparently through the fund for the treatment of our fellow citizens, and we once again thank all our friends, all dear fellow citizens, who participated in this project, by buying tickets and sponsoring goals, as well as by attending the event itself.

Special thanks go to the football schools ŠF J Academy, ŠF Derby, ŠF Bambinosi, FK Respekt, FK Radnik, KMF Tango, FK Famos, ŠF Sparta, ŠF Devetka, AB Academy, FK Dobrinja, FK Unis, OFK Biser and FK Željezničar, as well as coaches Anes Memić, Edin Dudo, Almir Čardaklija, Amina Kurtagić, Miloš Uro, Adnan Ćupina, Amil Šukalo, Smajo Mahmutović, Ibri Hodžić, Dejan Bandović, Adnan Spahić, Velid Abaz, Almir Šivšić, Alen Nogo, Edin Kovačević, Elvir Sućeska, Jadranko Bogičević and Sanjin Mešić, who selected the brilliant 100 boys and girls for this match.

Some of them managed to get on the scoresheet, so let's mention them and thank them for helping our Association with their goals against Željo, and they are: Isa Šuta, Benjamin Mehanović, Vedad Velić, Ridvan Dahija, Kerim Đipa, Amar Imamović and Fejsal Sabljica.

We owe great gratitude to the players and the Management of FK Željezničar, as well as the sponsors, primarily the Mozzart company, which donated a total of 15,000 KM for this project, rewarding three goals by FK Željezničar with 6,000 KM, but also the save by little Zak Agić with 9,000 KM. We owe great thanks to Perutnina Ptuj, which sponsored two goals by the children with a total of 5,000 KM, then BH Pošta and the Banking Association, which rewarded the children's goals with 2,000 KM each, as well as Telemach, Hifi Oil and Ankora, which contributed 1,000 KM each for the children's goals.

Thanks also to our technical sponsors GMB Grupa, Štamparija Gong, Kupikartu.ba, Produkcija Agency and SCC, who helped this project in their own way, and all together, when we sum up the sponsor payments, the revenue from donor tickets, payments to the account and calls to the humanitarian number 17021, brings us a figure of more than 40,000 KM collected for the fund.

This amount could be even higher when we receive the complete report from all telecom operators for our humanitarian number.
