One year since the death of little girl Džena Gadžun, family to protest in front of KS Government and Prosecutor's Office on November 14

(Patria) - On Monday, November 14, it will be one year since the tragic death of two-and-a-half-year-old Džena Gadžun from Kakanj, and her father will, with his family, come in front of the KS Government building and then head to the KS Prosecutor's Office because there is still no prosecutorial decision in this case. Chief Cantonal Prosecutor Sabina Sarajlija stated a few months ago in the KS Assembly that she could not disclose information about this case, other than to confirm that a team of prosecutors is working on it.

The father of the deceased Džena, Muris Gadžun, along with his two minor children, will come in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government building to express his dissatisfaction because for a year he has not known what led to his daughter's death.

Gadžun will arrive in front of the Government building at 9 AM, and then, together with his sons, will start a protest walk towards the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office at 10 AM.

"The Gadžun family demands that no political officials or members of any political party use their tragedy for political exposure on this tragic anniversary. We take this opportunity to invite journalists from all media outlets to support this gathering with their presence and give Muris the opportunity to share his dissatisfaction with the work of these bodies and his demands with the public," announced the legal representatives of the Gadžun family from the joint law office of Sabina Kadrić and Irma Muhović.

"First, I will come in front of the Sarajevo Canton Government to address Haris Vranić. Given that he only answers my questions via social media, this time I will come in person to Sarajevo, and I hope he will have the humanity and courage to answer my questions in person, face to face. I will stay in front of the KS Government until 10 AM, and after that, I will go with my children in front of the Prosecutor's Office building. In front of the Prosecutor's Office, I will say everything I have to say and what has been weighing on my soul for a year. I will submit my demands to the Prosecutor's Office and seek answers. I invite all journalists to support me in this fight for justice for my late daughter," Gadžun conveyed via Facebook.

Minister Haris Vranić requested information from the KS Prosecutor's Office about this case in August this year.

Džena Gadžun died on November 14 at the KCUS, after being brought in a serious condition from a private clinic where her eye was operated on. An inspection revealed a series of irregularities, and according to preliminary data, the girl did not wake up from anesthesia.
