Actor Sergej Trifunović: I am grateful to my mother for giving birth to me in Mostar

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Actor Sergej Trifunović said last night on Centralni dnevnik on Face TV that people in "our region" need a higher level of civic awareness. He called the ruling political elites a criminal group, but also pointed out that he doesn't understand why citizens tolerate such politics.

"I am fascinated by the number of people who completely don't care, or lack awareness, or don't know, or live in some darkness," Trifunović said, reports Patria.

Speaking about the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, he said that Vučić was in the same team as Milošević, and that the same team "is still riding the people now."

"It's all the same criminal group, I just don't know what these people are thinking," said Trifunović.

"I was born in Mostar, to a mother from Mostar, a local patriot, as all true Mostarians are. My mother married an actor who was in the Mostar theatre for two years, and then they moved to Kruševac. However, my mother wanted to give birth to me in Mostar, purely so that my ID card would say I was born in Mostar for the rest of my life, and I am very grateful to her for that. I declared myself a Mostarian on two censuses," said Trifunović.
