MOSTAR, (Patria) - Vesna Ćavar, Chief Prosecutor of the West Herzegovina Canton (ZHK) Prosecutor's Office, was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Friday in Mostar.
The prosecutor was hit by a Mercedes driver at a pedestrian crossing on Ante Starčević Street. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries and was transferred to the University Clinical Hospital in Mostar.
By order of the duty prosecutor, the vehicle was seized at the premises of the Mostar Police Department for further expert examination.
Pedestrians have been injured at the roundabout where the accident occurred before.
