
(Patria) - Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić met today at the headquarters of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in BiH, John Ginkel.
The meeting was also attended by the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, Nerin Dizdar.
Nikšić thanked Ginkel for the strong and significant support that the United States has continuously provided to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He stated that the United States is a key partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed a desire to maintain such a partnership in the future.
Ginkel emphasized the commitment of the United States to continue cooperation, adding that he believes there are new opportunities for American investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also highlighted that the Southern Interconnection project is of exceptional importance for the United States.
This was an opportunity for the interlocutors to exchange views on areas of interest to American investors, with particular emphasis on the potential in the energy sector, road infrastructure, and the defense industry.
John Ginkel assumed the position of Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina last month, and this was his first visit to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
