Genocide in Srebrenica: Names of 810 criminals, 400 of them still working even in police structures today!?

A large number of non-governmental organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been warning for years that more than 400 officers currently work in the state's police structures, even though they are on the list of those indicted and suspected of war crimes committed during the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The list of war criminals who hold high positions in the country and in the police, and who participated in the genocide in Srebrenica, was compiled by a mixed Commission of the RS Government, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Government, and the international community back in 2004.

That list contains 810 suspects of crimes. However, the burden they carry for what they did to the Bosniak population during the largest genocide in Europe after World War II did not pose a problem for them to find employment in various institutions of the BiH government after the aggression ended, and some of them even hold leadership positions, writes NAP.

Members of the Association "Women of Srebrenica" protested on Tuesday in front of the Regional Office of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in Tuzla. They demanded that Jovan Ilić be removed from his position in this Agency because he is on the list of war crime suspects.

Ilić was one of the leaders of the Bijeljina Public Security Center at the time when horrific crimes against the population of Bijeljina occurred.
