Where Citizens' Money in HNK is Spent: 300,000 KM Allocated from Budget for Reconstruction of SDA and HDZ Headquarters

Today, representatives in the Assembly of HNK adopted yet another shameful decision, more shameful and transparent than the recent decision to legalize tycoon properties owned by their loyal financiers, announced the SDP HNK, as reported by the Patria news agency.

Namely, during the adoption of the budget rebalance, they coldly allocated 300,000 KM for paying damages from fires to non-profit organizations, which in translation means for the reconstruction of the SDA and HDZ headquarters. The opposition publicly pointed this out from the podium, and no one from the ruling coalition dared to deny it.

Such transparent mockery of taxpayers represents the peak of disregard for the people. While the canton is drowning in dubious affairs, patients in hospitals are buying their own medicines and bandages, while budget users are being shortchanged on contributions and other rights by millions, while culture practically does not exist shamefully, they are squandering taxpayers' money on party luxuries, and the CIK, at the same time, hypocritically punishes all parties for the smallest offenses, except, of course, themselves.

To fulfill the orders of party leaders, they reduced certain items for culture, and now when the social picture of the canton is worse than ever. They stopped what is far more necessary, important, and behold, more humane. SDP representatives naturally voted against.

Until the latest coalition was formed, we could choose between two evils, and then they significantly enriched our offer. They are not at all concerned that our ship is sinking. What matters is that it happens in our territorial waters. Put yourself in our position and you will see how ridiculous you are!

This was, for who knows how many times, reminiscent of a classic division of spoils. The representatives of the ruling coalition did the lion's share of the work. So be it. Hats off to them. That's all they lack. Or is this perhaps a transitional government? Judging by how they daily cross the citizens, it is.

Before the elections, their mouths were full of social issues and commitment to citizens. Fine. They are, after all, politicians of their word. Deeds are not exactly their strong suit. It has become pointless to ask what kind of message is sent to citizens by such an act. Better days are dangerously approaching!, the statement reads.
