Gastronomy and Tourism Are Two Important Factors in BiH's Economy

Sarajevo will host the first Foodini Good Food Fest on Wednesday, an interesting food festival that will be held at the UNITIC business center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

At this good food festival, chefs from participating restaurants will prepare delicious delicacies in front of guests. Festival visitors will have the opportunity to taste food from various parts of the world – Japanese sushi, tasty French pastries, Finnish salmon soup, vegetarian specialties from Germany, Herzegovinian smokvara and redžel, Bosnian homemade pies, venison goulash, and much more.

The offerings of the restaurants participating in the good food festival will be colorful and diverse, with prices tailored to everyone's budget, and those who want to learn how certain specialties are prepared will have the chance to see and ask everything that interests them. Admission to the festival is free.

The festival organizer said that the goal of the Foodini Good Food Fest is to promote local cuisine, as gastronomy and tourism are two important factors in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additionally, the festival aims to enrich the festival offerings in the cities where it will be held, and in its first year, besides Sarajevo, this interesting event will also take place in Banja Luka and Mostar, reports Patria.

The exhibitors at the first Foodini festival are: Kimono sushi bar (Sarajevo), Vukov konak (Sarajevo), French bakery Maison Coco (Sarajevo), Natura food (Austria/BiH), Jami (Sarajevo), Gusto e Sapore (Tuzla), restaurant Vrelo (Blagaj), Delimano (Sarajevo), Vinarija Vučić (Čitluk), restaurant Plava Prizma (Sarajevo), company ToFi, and the GastroID association (Sarajevo), as well as the German Embassy in BiH.
