GALIĆ'S COMPETITIONS: Border Police Officers of BiH: Help!

Even if you were trained and drilled like the best L.A.P.D (Los Angeles) special forces, it would probably not be enough to pass the competition and testing conducted for the selection and admission of police officers to the rank of “junior inspector” in the Border Police of BiH. 

Namely, since last year, the BiH Border Police, led by Director Zoran Galić, has been trying to promote 44 police officers to the rank of “junior inspector.” One advertisement was canceled before the testing itself because the commission could not accept and “tune” who would pass and who would not, while respecting the “supreme border bullies.” 

Shortly after, they announced an extraordinary promotion that no one in the service meets the requirements for, and they demanded conditions that even they themselves do not meet. Until a “valid” commission for the selection of junior inspectors was finally formed, they announced a new competition, but with the classic indication that incomplete and untimely applications would not be considered. 

It happened that several “already selected” candidates were late with their applications, but fortunately for them, the leadership of the Border Police, led by Zoran Galić, again managed to repeat and request a supplement to the application, which violates the legal procedure. 

That was also resolved, and then testing began, which is eliminatory. The greatest despair of this competition is that over 200 candidates applied for testing, and only 44 managed to pass. The number sought in the competition for admission was 44. A coincidence multiplied by a betting odds of 50.00. 

It is also regrettable that the commission published a preliminary list containing the names of top-ranked officers who had already been disciplined, and there are also officers who graduated from the controversial “VITA PLUS” faculty in Cazin. 

After the entire farce, the Commission did not allow officers who did not meet the testing “criteria” to view their own tests.

“How can you appeal something you haven't even seen? How can you file a complaint if you don't know where you made a mistake?” ask the embittered border police officers in a new letter to Patria. 

In their letter, the border police officers state that “the tests of suitable officers cannot be transparently verified and relevantly evaluated in any way, and they appeal to all competent institutions, from the Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić and other authorities, to take steps to resolve this problem.”

In the letter to Patria, the Border Police officers address the leadership of this police agency: “Shame on you, Galić, Halač, and Kulić, you are ruining an already ruined Border Police. What are you doing and how long will this continue! May you be well, and we will manage as best we can. Are you aware that we are the worst paid of all police agencies in BiH? Of course you are not, because you are well paid, and you stimulate and reward your suitable ones, not the capable ones. We have had enough. We ask for help. HELP!”.
