FUP conducts searches in Vogošća and Bulevar settlement in Stup, Muris Hodžić arrested

(Patria) - Members of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton have been conducting searches at several locations for hours in the operation "Omerta". Strong police forces are in Vogošća, and in the Bulevar settlement in Stup.

During the search of an apartment in Bulevar, Muris Hodžić, the prime suspect in today's FUP operation, was arrested.

The operation is aimed at several individuals involved in drug trafficking.

Several suspects are under police control.

The operation was preceded by a months-long investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton and the FUP.

The targets of the operation are individuals who already have a criminal record.
