FUP arrests two persons in Sarajevo for extortion

(Patria) - The Federal Police Administration (FUP) today arrested two persons in Sarajevo.

FUP stated that its police officers, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office and by order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, conducted searches at three locations.

On that occasion, items sought by the order were found, which can be linked to the commission of the criminal offense of "Extortion" under Article 295, in connection with the criminal offenses of "Minor Bodily Injury" under Article 173 and "Theft" under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the conclusion of the searches, two persons with initials M.H. (1992) and N.E. (1996) - both from Sarajevo - were arrested and brought to the premises of the FUP in Sarajevo.

After criminal processing, the persons will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton within the legal deadline, along with a report on the committed criminal offense.
