FUP arrests 43-year-old in Sarajevo for drug possession

(Patria) - Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) today, under the supervision of the KS Prosecutor's Office, conducted an operational action "Tunel", on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of FBiH and Article 74, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Acquisition, Possession and Carrying of Weapons and Ammunition of KS.

As part of the aforementioned activities, and by order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a search was conducted of the family home and passenger motor vehicle used by E.N. (1980) from Sarajevo.

During the search, a certain amount of white powdery unknown substance resembling cocaine, a firearm, a precision scale, and other items that could be related to the commission of the criminal offense were found.

The arrested person will be handed over to the competent Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton within the legal deadline after criminal processing, the FUP announced.
