(Patria) - The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office proposed one-month detention for the suspects Amir Adilović, Edin Neretljak, and Antonio Jovanović, who were arrested by members of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) under the order of the acting prosecutor in the operation codenamed "Pub".
- Detention was proposed due to the risk that the suspects might influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and due to the risk of re-offending while at liberty - stated the spokesperson for the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić.
The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office suspects them of the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
Specifically, the suspects are accused of procuring, packaging, and selling amphetamine and cannabis narcotic drugs in the Sarajevo Canton area from March to July 2023.
During the search, a certain amount of amphetamine, weapons, a car, and other items that will be used as evidence in the criminal proceedings were seized from the suspects.
Meanwhile, the FUP announced that in the "Pub" operation, another person with initials A.V. (born 2001) was arrested today on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unlawful deprivation of liberty.
The previously arrested Amir Adilović and Antonio Jovanović are also suspected in relation to this criminal offense.
"The arrested person will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office with a report on the committed criminal offense after criminal processing at the FUP premises," the FUP announced.
