FUP arrests three dealers in Mostar

(Patria) - Officers of the Federal Police Administration, while undertaking measures and actions within their jurisdiction under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, arrested three individuals identified as V.P. (1964), D.S. (1986) from Mostar, and Z.K. (1975) from Stolac, in connection with the criminal offense of "Illegal Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Individual V.P. is also suspected of the criminal offense of "Procurement of Prostitution" under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Individual D.S. was subject to a central warrant issued based on an Order from the Municipal Court in Mostar for the criminal offense of "Endangering Security" under Article 183 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The individual was handed over to the judicial police of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further jurisdiction.

As part of the aforementioned activities, and acting on an Order from the Municipal Court in Mostar, searches of vehicles and a catering facility were carried out, while searches of residential buildings used by the suspects in the areas of Mostar and Stolac are still ongoing. So far, during the searches, approximately 1.5 kg of a substance resembling the narcotic drug "Amphetamine" and a certain amount of plant material resembling the narcotic drug "Cannabis Sativa L" have been found and seized, along with other items requested by the Court Order, which originate from or are related to the aforementioned criminal offense.

The arrested individuals will be processed criminally at the official premises of the Federal Police Administration and will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton within the legal deadline, along with a report on the committed criminal offense.

Significant support in carrying out these activities was provided by the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, while assistance was provided by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
