FUP arrests individual with initials Dž. O. in Hadžići for extortion, bombing, and inflicting serious bodily harm

(Patria) - Police officers of the Federal Police Administration today, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, conducted an operation codenamed "Jaguar", related to documenting individuals suspected of committing criminal offenses "Causing General Danger" under Article 323, "Serious Bodily Injury" under Article 172, "Extortion" under Article 295, all in conjunction with Article 340 of the Criminal Code of FBiH "Association for the Commission of Criminal Offenses".

Within the scope of the mentioned activities, and based on the Order of the Municipal Court in Mostar, the individual DŽ.O. (1992) from Hadžići was deprived of liberty, and a search of the movable and immovable property used by the said individual was carried out, during which a mobile phone, SIM cards, and clothing used in the commission of the criminal offenses were found, as well as other items that can be linked to the commission of the said criminal offenses.

The individual deprived of liberty is suspected of being part of a group that, for a certain period, exerted pressure on the victim from Mostar to extort money. In the process of exerting this pressure, an explosive device that did not detonate was thrown at the victim's house, and he sustained serious bodily injuries.

The said individual will be processed criminally in the official premises of the Federal Police Administration, and within the legal deadline, will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton with a Report on the Committed Criminal Offense.

During the implementation of activities on the mentioned case, the Federal Police Administration was supported by the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
