SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On the order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, members of the Federal Police Administration began the implementation of an operation codenamed "Memori" this morning, confirmed Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the KS Prosecutor's Office.
The operation is being conducted due to the criminal offenses of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses and abuse of position or authority.
"Searches are underway at multiple locations," said Bavčić.
Searches are being conducted in Sarajevo, Tuzla, and Mostar. A search is also being conducted at the Museum of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide.
"Six individuals under investigation by the KTKS are suspected of printing duplicate tickets for the Museums of Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide in Sarajevo and Mostar since July 2017. They sold the tickets and kept the money from the sales for themselves," said Bavčić.
