FUP conducted searches at 11 locations in Sarajevo Canton, seven people arrested for drug offenses

(Patria) - Members of the Federal Police Administration (FUP), within the operation codenamed "Omerta", arrested seven people for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.

The arrested individuals are suspected of having procured and distributed drugs in the area of the municipality of Vogošća in the past period with the aim of gaining illegal property benefits.

Searches were carried out at 11 locations in the Sarajevo Canton (KS). The operation was preceded by a multi-month investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of KS and FUP.

After criminal processing at FUP, the suspects will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of KS.
