FUP and FMUP mark anniversary of police officer Mahir Begić's murder

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today, 09.02.2021, marks the second anniversary of the treacherous murder of police officer Mahir Begić of the Federal Police Administration.

A delegation of the Federal Police Administration, led by Deputy Director Mr. Ensad Korman, as well as delegations from the Federal Ministry of Interior and the Union of Employees of the Federal Ministry of Interior, laid flowers at the memorial plaque in the Suhodol Training Center bearing the name "Mahir Begić" in remembrance of Mahir's courage and dedication in performing police duties.

Additionally, by laying flowers, reciting the Fatiha, and in other appropriate ways at the "Lokve" cemetery in the Hadžići municipality, tribute was paid to the fallen police officer Mahir Begić, after which the Deputy Director of the Federal Police Administration, Mr. Ensad Korman, visited the mother of the deceased police officer.

We recall that on 09.02.2019, in the locality of Suhodol near Tarčin, Hadžići municipality, Edin Gačić, in a very cruel and insidious manner, took the life of police officer Mahir Begić of the Federal Police Administration, who was working on regular security of the Suhodol Training Center facility.
