FUCZ organized sending aid to Turkey, tents and sleeping bags sent to affected areas

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In continuation of activities to provide assistance to those affected by the devastating earthquake that hit the Republic of Turkey and Syria, the Government of the Federation of BiH, with a new Conclusion, tasked the Federal
Directorate of Commodity Reserves to prepare 30 winter tents and 900 winter sleeping bags for sending to earthquake-stricken areas.

The Federal Civil Protection Administration coordinated the activities of sending this aid.

25 tents and 804 sleeping bags have been provided for the Republic of Turkey, and aid for Syria will be sent as soon as possible. In order to deliver the aid as quickly as possible, representatives of "Express
courier" performed the export customs procedure free of charge, thus showing social responsibility and solidarity with the countries hit by this unprecedented disaster.

The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH accepted the offered aid and expressed its gratitude.

This donation will depart tonight from Sarajevo Airport on the first flight of "Turkish
Airlines" to Adana in Turkey, where it will be received by AFAD, which will further distribute this aid according to priorities in the most endangered areas.
