Frankfurt under police siege again this morning, sporadic incidents during the night

In Frankfurt, a large number of police forces are still present on the streets this morning following yesterday's destructive demonstrations, during which 26 people were arrested and 150 police officers injured, although the situation is slowly normalizing, writes the Patria News Agency.

Bosnian Consul Mr. Admir Atović told Patria that he is in constant contact with Mr. Schiller from the 13th police station in Frankfurt, which is securing the Consulate building.

- This morning, during my conversation with Mr. Schiller, I received information that there were sporadic incidents during the night as well.

One car was set on fire, windshields were smashed, glass on some buildings was damaged, and containers were set on fire. All arrested individuals were released after questioning, except for one Italian citizen who was detained due to the possibility of fleeing to his country, Atović states.

The Bosnian Consul notes that the Consulate staff was not endangered at any point.
