French police detain seven for questioning, victims of terrorist attacks being identified

French police detained seven people for questioning on Sunday in connection with the deadly siege that killed at least 129 people on Friday night, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The seven people detained are relatives of Omar Ismail Mostefai, a 29-year-old French citizen with a criminal record and one of the seven attackers who was a suicide bomber. 

As early as 2010, Mostefai was on the radar of French intelligence services due to his connections with radical Islamists in a mosque near Chartres.

- The goal is to understand what led this man to become a suicide bomber - said a French police official.

As reported by CNN, the passports found next to the terrorists were forged. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the series of terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night, and French security services are trying to determine how such an organized attack occurred.

At the same time, the victims of the attacks, numbering over 130 dead and more than 350 injured, are being identified. Among the dead and injured are citizens of other countries. 

We remind you that on Friday night, explosions were heard in several places in the central part of Paris, and terrorists armed with automatic rifles entered a restaurant and a concert hall and fired non-stop.
