Fra Mile Babić: Victims deserve a concert, not criminals

Why do Croatian nationalists attack and insult Bosnian Franciscans, how did fighters for a multi-ethnic BiH become Greater-Bosniak unitarians, who will initiate dialogue between Bosnian and Herzegovinian Croats? These topics were discussed tonight on Pressing on N1 by philosopher and theologian, professor at the Franciscan Theology in Sarajevo, fra Mile Babić.

- We have religious collectivism in our country, people belong to a collective and do not have personal faith. A true believer has personal faith and responsibility. Today's people have reduced believers to mere belonging to a religious collective - he said and added:

- Nationalists propagate national values that are particular, while human values are universal. They deny human values to their own people.

A rally in support of the six Hague convicts, who were among the leaders of the then self-proclaimed Herceg-Bosna, has been announced for Thursday in Mostar.

- Every moral and responsible person should organize a concert for the victims. That is a normal and religious approach. Justice and satisfaction must be fulfilled for the victims, not for those who committed these crimes. Throughout human history, much human evil has presented criminals as heroes - believes fra Mile Babić, reports NAP.
