PHOTO Calm in Vogošća this morning, strong police forces securing Hotel Sunce

After last night's fan riots on the streets of Vogošća, it has been calm since this morning, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Strong police forces are securing Hotel Sunce, where Lech fans are accommodated. In front of the hotel, there are damaged cars and a Polish bus without windows. 

While the streets of Vogošća were ablaze until late past midnight, there were no problems in the hotel. The Polish fans, according to hotel staff, showed a high degree of tolerance towards workers and inventory. They even helped the waiters return chairs to their places after the riots.

- A few chairs were lost in the brawl, but nothing serious. When our fans came in front of the hotel, the Poles took chairs to defend themselves. When the incident ended, they returned the chairs to their places. That surprised us. They are very careful in the hotel – says the receptionist for Patria.

At one point, the Polish fans formed a police cordon, using chairs as a barrier to shield themselves from the stones thrown by local fans. 

- Everything looked so terrible – says one eyewitness.

In the clashes between Sarajevo and Polish Lech fans, nine police officers and 18 fans were injured. Three fans are seriously injured and have been kept at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.

The match between Sarajevo and Lech is played tonight at 9 PM at the Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium, as part of the second qualifying round of the Champions League, writes NAP.
