Forto: We will close all clinics and practices that do not have legally clean operations

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto commented on the death of the girl Džena Gadžun.

“As the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, as a parent and as a human being, I want to express my most sincere condolences to the family. I cannot imagine how they feel nor the depth of grief that has burdened them. I sincerely hope that justice regarding their child will come to light and that this will never happen to any child again.

Not only do I want that, but I will also do everything in that regard. We do not yet have a complete insight into the inspection and other findings related to this tragedy, but we will act in accordance with what those findings establish. We will close all clinics and practices that do not have all the necessary documentation for legally completely clean operations. The lack of regulation of private clinics is a problem in itself, but it also tells us that public healthcare has not responded to all the needs of our fellow citizens, forcing them into private arrangements”, stated Prime Minister Forto.
