Traffic jams in both directions on the Jablanica-Mostar road due to traffic accident

(Patria) - Since 1:15 PM, alternating traffic has been allowed for all vehicles on the M-17 Jablanica-Mostar main road (near Begića i Begovića bridge). Long traffic jams in both directions have formed following a traffic accident near Begića i Begovića bridge involving three vehicles and injuring four people. Ambulances have arrived at the scene. 

Vehicle traffic is heavy in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina today. We warn of frequent rockfalls onto the road. We appeal to drivers to be extremely cautious on all routes, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and stay informed about the current road conditions and traffic flow. If you are traveling long distances, take frequent breaks. 

Due to repair works on the Gorica bridge, the left tube of the March 1st tunnel on the A-1 Zenica-Sarajevo highway is closed, and traffic is operating in both directions through the right tunnel tube.

Traffic is slower due to works during the day on the main roads: Srbljani-Bosanska Krupa, Kiseljak-Gromiljak, Lašva-Kaonik, Travnik-Vitez, Šićki Brod-Lukavac, Bihać-Kamenica, and Ripač-Dubovsko, as well as at the entrance to Bugojno (from the direction of Rostovo).

Due to road subsidence at the entrance to Vinac from the direction of Donji Vakuf (M-5/16 Donji Vakuf-Jajce), only one lane is operational, and the speed limit is 20 km/h.

On the regional road section from Ravno towards the Ljubinje-Trebinje main road (M-6), traffic is suspended and diverted to alternative routes.

Due to repair works on the bridge in Ilidža (M-17 Stup-Blažuj), traffic from the direction of Blažuj is diverted through the Lužani settlement, while traffic from the direction of Ilidža is proceeding over the bridge (one lane on the bridge is operational).

Due to repair works, the bridge at the entrance to Nemila (junction M-17 with R-473) is closed, and vehicles are rerouted via the intersection in Topčić Polje.

Long queues of passenger vehicles are present at the Doljani and Gabela Polje border crossings for exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is heavy, but waiting times do not currently exceed 30 minutes.
