BiH MFA Team Formed to Support Implementation of Local Elections 2020 Outside BiH

Deputy Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turković attended the first meeting of the BiH MFA Team for operational support of the Local Elections 2020, which was also attended by members of the Central Election Commission of BiH, Jakup Subašić and Suad Arnautović.

On that occasion, Arnautović presented “Basic Information for Voters Abroad for the Local Elections 2020”, and informed the MFA Team members about the changed voting procedure outside Bosnia and
Herzegovina due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

During the meeting, the significant role of BiH's diplomatic-consular representations worldwide in enabling BiH citizens abroad to exercise their right to vote,
improving citizen awareness, and supporting registration and the organization of voting itself in the premises of the DKP network was emphasized once again. All participants expressed their readiness to make maximum efforts to ensure the best possible turnout of BiH citizens from the diaspora in the local elections to be held on November 15, 2020.
