FK Velež Expresses Condolences to the Families of Victims in Accident: Our Thoughts Are With You

(Patria) - Football Club Velež Mostar issued an official statement following the tragic news we learned today.

Namely, after yesterday's accident in Čevljanovići, in which a passenger car collided with a bus carrying the players of Rođeni, a 22-year-old and a baby who was with him in the car died. Doctors are still fighting for the life of one man.

The club from Mostar expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

"Football Club Velež Mostar expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of yesterday's severe traffic accident in which a passenger car with several people 'flew under' a bus carrying the players and professional staff of FK Velež Mostar.

With sadness and pain, we received the news that, according to current information, a twenty-two-year-old young man and a baby lost their lives in the accident, while the remaining passengers suffered injuries of varying degrees.

Although none of the Rođeni players were injured, everyone who experienced the accident is particularly affected and disturbed by this tragedy and its outcome.

We wish a speedy recovery to the injured and express our most sincere condolences on this great loss.
