Fišo confirmed Hećo's crime: Money spent on expert reports instead of defense of fighters

The Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton confirmed for the Patria news agency that it allocated 200,000 KM to the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Facts "Justice" Sarajevo under a Public Call published in July 2014, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The decision was signed by Minister Faid Hećo (BPS), and the Director of the Justice Foundation is Medina Delalić, a member of BPS. The headquarters of the Foundation is at the same address as the headquarters of BPS at Ćemaluša 6/II.

According to information received this morning from the Minister for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Muharem Fišo (BPS), the "Justice" Foundation received 200,000 KM for two proposed projects.

- The project "Providing financial assistance to participants of the 1992-1995 war who are suspected/accused of war crimes, being tried in courts in BiH" and the project of purchasing documents, audio and visual material, creating documents and other materials related to the war in BiH which are provided from a unified database to defense teams and for creating a foundation archive that would have usability in investigative/judicial proceedings against members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in war crimes cases - it is stated.

According to the reports submitted by the Justice Foundation, funds were allocated to 18 individuals in amounts ranging from 1,500 KM to 5,125 KM, as well as to defense teams for the accused in the Trusina and Igman cases in the amount of 10,000 KM, but the names cannot be disclosed, citing the Law on Personal Data Protection.

As stated, 73,000 KM was spent on the second project for reimbursement of costs for expert reports, for the purchase of relevant documents for the "Silos" case, i.e., the case of eight accused from Hadžići, 4,100 KM, while 16,000 KM was spent on the costs of producing video materials.

Also, from the allocated funds, the Foundation was entitled to spend 40,000 KM on employee costs.

The "Patriotic Front" Foundation from Hadžići also applied for the same Public Call, but was not successful because the Commission gave preference to the "Justice" Foundation. We remind you that the Justice Foundation also received 200,000 KM under the Public Call from 2013.

In April 2015, a Public Call was published to which the Justice Foundation applied, but Minister Fišo was forced to stop the plunder of another 200,000 KM after deputies in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton demanded a detailed examination of the expenditure of funds from 2014 by this Foundation.

If this Foundation were to receive another 200,000 KM, it would mean that in less than three years, it would have received 600,000 KM from the Sarajevo Canton Budget, all on the orders of party leader Sefer Halilović.
