Financial Support from the City of Tuzla to the BiH Border Police

The BiH Border Police received support from the City of Tuzla through valuable financial resources secured in the City of Tuzla budget for 2020. This is financial support in the amount of 120,000 KM, with the aim of protecting the state border from the illegal entry of migrants into the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The BiH Border Police will use the donated financial resources transparently, purposefully, and exclusively to strengthen the capacities of the BiH Border Police.

Former Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić initiated during his mandate that authorities at all levels get involved in order to adequately respond to the migration issue, as it is clear that the greatest burden falls precisely on the BiH Border Police.

Members of the BiH Border Police are faced with an increased level of risk in performing their duties, especially during the migrant crisis, and every form of donation that helps the Border Police in more effective protection of the state border is extremely important.
