Movie-like casino robbery in Tuzla, MUP TK's swift action leads to arrest of robbers, weapons and money found!

(Patria) - This morning around seven o'clock in the Bukinje settlement near Tuzla, a scene unfolded that resembled a movie more than reality.

Two masked assailants, threatening with firearms, broke into the casino premises and in just a few minutes took away an amount of around 75,000 KM. After getting their hands on the money, they fled in an unknown direction.

Shocked employees and citizens who happened to be nearby at the time immediately alerted the police. Patrols from the Zapad Police Station and members of the MUP TK Police Administration arrived at the scene within minutes.

The reported allegations were confirmed, and soon criminal investigators, with the assistance of the Rapid Intervention Team of the Special Police Unit, joined the investigation.

In a coordinated action, under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of TK, the police began searching for the assailants.

The results were not long in coming; during the day, a vehicle connected to the robbery was found, and in it, a number of items that could be key evidence. Among them were automatic weapons, as well as money believed to originate from the committed criminal offense.

As Hayat.ba has learned, the police quickly identified the individuals suspected of being behind this morning's robbery. Five people were deprived of their liberty and taken to the official premises of the MUP TK, where criminal processing is underway.

The MUP TK emphasizes that the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to shed light on all circumstances and the potential connections of the suspects to other criminal offenses.

The event has unsettled the residents of Bukinje and the wider public, as armed robberies of this magnitude are not a frequent occurrence in Tuzla. Many point out that the timely and swift reaction of the police prevented the story from having much more serious consequences.
