(Patria) - Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico says he supports plans for Ukraine's accession to the European Union, but believes Kyiv is not ready for it yet, TASS reported.
"Ukraine is absolutely not ready to join the European Union," he said in a video posted on his Facebook page.
According to Fico, the country must meet the conditions for candidates for membership in the European Union.
He once again called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine.
A peace agreement should be signed under terms acceptable to Ukraine, Fico said.
