Festival of Good Food: Experience the Unique Magic of Tastes and Scents

The first promotional Foodini will be held at the UNITIC business center in Sarajevo on December 17, from 8 AM to 6 PM, and all interested parties will be able to enter for free, writes the Patria News Agency.

Foodini is intended to promote Bosnian-Herzegovinian and international cuisine, and at this festival of good food, chefs from exhibiting restaurants will prepare delicious delicacies in front of guests. Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to taste food from various parts of the world – from Japanese sushi, through delicious French pastries, to homemade pies.

Foodini is organized in the style of similar European festivals, and all enthusiasts who can offer and want to experience the unique magic of tastes and scents are welcome. Festival participants include the restaurant Plava Prizma from Sarajevo, the German Embassy Sarajevo, Kimono caffe sushi bar, Vukov konak, Maison Coco French bakery, Natura food Bijeljina, Jami, Gusto e Sapore from Tuzla, Vrelo restaurant from Blagaj, Vučić Winery from Čitluk, Delimano, and GastroID, a center for culinary and hospitality training. Foodini partners are Diners Club BH, Inside by Ećo, and PRicha agency.

- One of the tasks of the Foodini Good Food Fest is to offer an additional platform for the promotion of local cuisine, as gastronomy and tourism are two important components of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, our goal is to enrich the festival offer in the cities where we will be present, and in the first year, we plan to visit Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Mostar - stated Alena Kahrimanović, PR of Foodini Good Food Fest.

Alena Kahrimanović is a student at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo and was chosen as the spokesperson for Foodini after a casting organized by the organizers for interested students. It is also interesting that Alena was the student of the year in the Department of Communication Studies.

In addition to the exhibition part, on the main festival stage, all interested parties will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, and the musical program will be performed by students of the Music Academy from East Sarajevo.
