Tea and Medicinal Herbs Festival at Alija Izetbegović Square

The Municipality of Stari Grad supported the holding of the International Festival of Tea and Medicinal Herbs “Tea Fest” which will be open until June 18 at the Old Town’s Trg oslobođenja-Alija Izetbegović. Companies and independent producers from BiH and neighboring countries are presenting at this sales-oriented festival, reports Patria agency.

In addition to producers of medicinal herbs, there are also beekeepers offering various types of honey and similar products. The festival is organized by the non-governmental organization “Dio srca” (A Piece of Heart), whose primary goal is to promote the use of tea and medicinal herbs, as well as to improve business connections and establish cooperation in the herbal sector.

Also, next to the sales stands, there is a central tent where an action to collect clothing, books, and toys for the socially vulnerable is organized. Everyone is invited to donate something from the above if they are able.
