Feraget: Announced appeal is an attempt by the KS Prosecutor's Office to cover up the murder of Dženan Memić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Ifet Feraget, the lawyer for the family of the murdered young man Dženan Memić, said after today's acquittal in the Memić case that an investigation into the investigation must now be conducted. 

„We want to know who smashed Ljubo's van at the spot where Dženan allegedly hit his head. Who broke the headlight that was found at the scene, but was not found at the scene. And we must get a final answer from Alisa, because we have proof that Dženan was killed around half past nine. We know everything. Who killed him and how it happened, we are not going public with the data. Dalida Burzić has left a sinking ship, here it has sunk for the second time. Milan Tegeltija's responsibility is that he should not and must not have allowed the selection of such a person until this proceeding is concluded. The whole story with Ištvan Bodolo only shows that the same people who were involved from the beginning are trying to present to the public the thesis that a traffic accident could have occurred here“, said Feraget. 

Regarding the appeal of the KS Prosecutor's Office against the acquittal, Feraget said that it shows how serious the intention of the KS Prosecutor's Office is to try to cover up the murder. 

„It is up to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. No verdict should be waited for, an investigation must be launched, it has already been launched, I don't know against whom, we were informed that it is against multiple persons. People who are obviously involved in all this are still acting from the same positions. They are no longer prosecutors, they are saving their own skin. There you lose impartiality. With this act, for the second time, we find ourselves at square one. No one has yet launched an investigation into the murder of Dženan Memić. In my opinion, Gordana Tadić should take over the entire investigation. Not just the obstruction of the investigation, but investigate the murder. This is organized crime for which the law prescribes a sentence of up to 45 years in prison. Dalida Burzić knows that, I am not threatening anyone. I know what I have been through these four years. We will go all the way to get answers to all questions", he added. 

Feraget said that the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH can render a final verdict and that he does not believe that the Supreme Court will dare to overturn such a detailed verdict.
