FBiH: Lower exports and imports in January compared to December 2014

In January 2015, the Federation of BiH achieved exports totaling 458,420 KM, which is 42,414 KM less than in December 2014, according to data from the Federal Institute of Statistics, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In the same month, imports amounted to 701,905 KM, which is 183,124 KM less than in December 2014.

The import coverage rate by exports is 65.3%, which is 8.7% higher than in December 2014 when the coverage was 56.6%. The trade deficit of the Federation of BiH for January 2015 amounts to 243,485 KM.

The highest export value of 407,800 KM was achieved in the manufacturing industry, accounting for 89.0% of total exports. The highest import value of 608,727 KM was also achieved in the manufacturing industry.

In January 2015, the most exports went to: Germany 88,411 KM, Italy 68,676 KM and Croatia 41,578 KM. Exports to all other countries amount to 259,755 KM.

In the same month, the most imports came from: Germany 88,392 KM, Croatia 86,600 KM and Italy 67,789 KM. Imports from all other countries amount to 459,124 KM.
