(Patria) - An Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina helicopter successfully evacuated an injured mountaineer from inaccessible terrain, and they are heading towards a medical facility.
Mountain Rescue Service teams who were on the ground to evacuate and medically treat the injured person are returning to base, reported from GSS FBiH.
An accident occurred today on the Visočica mountain when a mountaineer slipped and slid down a ridge towards the Rakitnica canyon.
Four GSS FBiH teams were on the ground, and a procedure to deploy a helicopter had been initiated.
