(Patria) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Ankara on Wednesday, where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in support of regional security and stability, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, Al Arabiya reported.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prince Faisal signed a new visa agreement with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
"The two sides signed an agreement on mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government of the Republic of Turkey," SPA reports.
SPA reported that during the meeting before the signing of the new agreement, the two top diplomats reviewed bilateral relations between their countries and discussed regional developments, as well as ways to maintain security and stability in the region.
They chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council, established in 2016 with the aim of establishing a highest-level mechanism for managing bilateral ties between the two countries.
