Erdogan to visit Serbia with 150 Turkish businesspeople

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Serbia at the end of September, Belgrade's Večernje novosti has learned, reports the Patria agency.

According to Novosti's information from the cabinet of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Erdogan will arrive in Serbia with two planes and 150 of the most important businesspeople from Turkey, who will spend two days in Serbia.

The topic of meetings between Vučić and Erdogan, as well as Serbian and Turkish businesspeople, will be the conclusion of many business agreements, as well as the inevitable topics related to the political relations between the two countries.

One of the main topics should also be the construction of the TurkStream gas pipeline, which would partially pass through Serbia.

The visit plan was drafted on Monday in Vučić's cabinet by the Serbian president and the undersecretary of the National Intelligence Agency of Turkey (MIT), Hakan Fidan.

This will be the second time in two months that Vučić and Erdogan meet, having met in Istanbul on July 11.
