Erdogan: Just as we entered Karabakh and Libya, we can do the same to Israel

(Patria) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued new threats to Israel, stating that Turkey is ready to do anything to protect Palestinians.

During a meeting with members of the AK Party's provincial organization in Rize, Erdogan commented on the situation in Gaza, sending a warning to Tel Aviv.

- Just as we entered Karabakh and Libya, we can do the same to Israel. There is nothing we cannot do. We just need to stay strong - Erdogan stated.

Let us recall that Erdogan also spoke about the situation in Israel and Palestine in Rize on Saturday and criticized the US.

- Rolling out the red carpet for someone like Netanyahu and applauding his lies until their hands swell is a great lack of reason for America. We are ashamed in the name of humanity when we see this - Erdogan said.

He also stated that Turkey had invited the leader of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, to attend a session of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, but he did not come.

- Who says we didn't invite him? I regret that he did not come. He should apologize to us first. We invited him and he did not come. We are waiting to see if he will respond in the future - added the President of Turkey.
