
(Patria) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with his American counterpart Donald Trump about Venezuela, Gaza, and trade and defense industry issues, TASS reported late last night.
„The leaders discussed bilateral relations in the political sphere between Turkey and the United States, cooperation in the defense industry, steps to be taken to achieve the targeted trade volume between the two countries, as well as regional and global issues, including the situation in Gaza and Venezuela,“ the Turkish President’s office announced after the talks.
The Turkish side conveyed its „stance on sensitive issues“ for Turkey in the situation with Venezuela,“
Erdogan said earlier, speaking after a cabinet meeting.
