Enver Mujezinović - from the shadow of "Pogorelica" to cooperation with Washington!

A delegation of the BiH defense industry is currently visiting the United States of America, led by the Assistant Director of the Federal Directorate for the Defense Industry, Enver Mujezinović, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

The departure of this delegation to Washington and talks with high-ranking American officials are, as we learn, a very important signal of support for the efforts of this industry and parts of the federal government to better utilize the potential of BiH's defense production.

At the same time, this visit, at the invitation of the USA, is a resolute response to the media campaign against the BiH defense industry, which was conducted in some BiH media outlets for the benefit of individuals who sought personal gain from it all.

Namely, a few months ago, the Government of the Federation of BiH signed a memorandum of understanding with the reputable American company "Howell Machine" regarding their potential investment in BiH industry. The Americans showed strong will and readiness, but media reports and unargued accusations against them have, as Patria learns, slowed down the implementation of their investment intentions.

However, activities have continued, and now Mujezinović, along with company representatives, is continuing talks in the USA.

At the same time, Mujezinović's trip to the USA, and his contacts with high-ranking officials of that country, also have personal significance, as it removes the imposed burden due to the Pogorelica affair in which Mujezinović was one of the accused.

At that time, accusations of forming some kind of terrorist camp were fabricated against former high-ranking officials of the BiH security apparatus. However, all the accused, except for Mujezinović, Irfan Ljevaković, Bakir Alispahić, Ejub Ikić, and Edham Veladžić, were acquitted of all charges by the Supreme Court, but even after that, these false accusations continued to be brought up in the media and political disputes.

However, with Mujezinović's trip to the USA at the head of the BiH delegation, it is, in a way, clearly conveyed from Washington what they think of those accusations and the current campaign against the defense industry, reports NAP.
