SARAJevo, (Patria) - "According to the evidence gathered so far by members of foreign military and observer missions, around a thousand attacks resulting in minor or serious injuries to Bosniaks have been carried out against returnees in the RS entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina", announced state representative Šemsudin Mehmedović (SDA).

According to the records of seasoned journalist Salih Brkić, 13 Bosniak returnees have been killed and 22 seriously injured in the smaller BiH entity since Dayton.

No one has been arrested. No one has been prosecuted for this.

Immediately after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the first returnees went to Gaje and Koraj. At that time, Meša Arnautović was killed by a sniper. His head was blown off.

After that, RS police beat returnee Muradif Alić to death in Mahala.

Those police officers who entered Mahala are on the recordings, and they surely know who the killer is. It is visible on the recordings that they are cynically smiling after the fatal beating of Muradif Alić.

The murders continued in Glogova near Bratunac. A landmine was placed, which killed, or rather blew the head off, Sejfo Ahmetović. The mine was placed next to the construction site where Sejfo was trying to rebuild his destroyed and burned house.

After that, murders occurred in Zelina near Kalesija. Two returnees were killed in that settlement: Hasan Džafić and Rifat Muminović.

They were killed by former police officer from Osmaci, Milan Bećarević. The then prosecutor in TK, Šesenam Ćosić, showed an arrest warrant for the killer Bećarević, and to this day there has been neither an arrest nor a verdict. SIPA has not found him.

During the placement of the first tombstone in Potočari, on July 11, 2001, a girl, Meliha Durić, was killed by a sniper at night in the village of Džamdžići near Vlasenica. A few days before this horrific child murder, returnee Meho Juralgić was seriously injured.

SFOR found the rifle in the vicinity of the Durić house and took it to France for forensic examination. The same rifle with which Juralgić was wounded was later used to kill the girl Meliha Durić.

In Laze near Teočak, two Bosniaks were killed: Hazim Čajlaković and Rasim Bilalić. They were driving a tractor to their properties and were killed from an ambush. The killers were never discovered, nor was there an investigation.

In 2005, returnee Paša Mustafić was killed in Pećišta near Potočari.

During the laying of the foundation stone for the Ferhadija mosque in Banja Luka, Bosniaks and diplomats who came to grace that moment, important for reconciliation in BiH, were stoned. Murat Badić was stoned to death then.

Murat Badić's killers were never found.

In Sjenina, three returnees were beaten to death with sticks. At that time, 12 Bosniak returnees were seriously injured. There is a photograph showing the killers publicly displaying themselves. No one was arrested, no one was prosecuted.
