SARAJEVO, (Patria) - PDP councilor in the Gradiška City Assembly Radislav Dončić was today issued a misdemeanor fine of 1,000 BAM for yesterday's post on the social network Facebook claiming that Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adžić was in constant contact with a person infected with coronavirus, and that he did not adhere to isolation measures, the PDP announced.
From the PDP, they state that the misdemeanor fine was justified by spreading panic on social networks.
“Writing and telling the truth is punished today, while potential carriers of the virus move around unhindered. The virus is not spread by the truth, but by interpersonal contact, and it is my duty to warn about that. I did not accept the misdemeanor fine, because I have witnesses for my claims, and I will see Adžić in court and I will file a report against him,” says Dončić.
From the examples of Dončić and Draško Stanivuković, who was summoned for questioning for the same reason, it is increasingly evident that the real reasons for adopting the Decree with the force of law on prohibiting the spread of panic and disorder during the state of emergency are actually the authorities' settling of scores with political dissidents.
“The speed of action shows that the authorities are as efficient in implementing this decree as they are not when it comes to the set of measures for economic recovery. Unlike the promised set of economic measures, they even managed to publish the decree on prohibiting the spread of panic in the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska,” the PDP states.
