Representatives of "Energoinvest" signed a memorandum with the company "Temsan" during yesterday's visit of the BiH delegation to Turkey, which should result in the opening of a factory for the production of circuit breakers at Sarajevo's Stup by the end of the year, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
As confirmed for Patria by the director of "Energoinvest", Enes Čengić, during yesterday's meeting with representatives of "Temsan", it was agreed that a study would be prepared in the next four to five months to confirm the feasibility of investing in a factory of this type.
However, Čengić says, he is already confident that this is a good project that should provide about 65 direct new jobs, as well as engage between 100 and 150 workers who would work as external associates for the needs of this factory.
- We have already conducted a study that showed there is justification for opening such a factory in Sarajevo. However, the representatives of "Temsan" requested that another feasibility study be conducted, after which we will negotiate concrete steps for opening this factory - Čengić told Patria.
If realized, the entire project will cost around 12 million euros.
- "Energoinvest" already has facilities, technology, and experts who would work in this factory, so the Turkish partner should invest around 6 million euros more for the factory to start operating smoothly - explained Čengić, writes Patria.
