(Patria) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of the Bosansko-podrinjski Canton (BPK) Goražde issued a statement this evening regarding the information that a few days ago near Goražde the lifeless body of 52-year-old Emir Curo was found.
"On 05.11.2024, around 14:00, the lifeless body of E.C. (1972), with visible injuries to the upper part of the body, was found in a family house in the village of Raškovići.
By order and in the presence of the prosecutor, police officers of the MUP of BPK Goražde conducted an investigation, and an autopsy was performed on the body of the deceased.
In order to shed light on all the circumstances under which E.C.'s death occurred as efficiently as possible, the Police Administration of the MUP of BPK Goražde requested expert assistance from colleagues from the Police Administration of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton on 07.11.2024.
In the evening hours of 08.11.2024, a joint team of investigators from the two police administrations identified two men who are suspected of being connected to the commission of the criminal offense of Murder (Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) to the detriment of E.C.
Criminal processing is currently being carried out on them in the official premises of the Police Administration of the MUP of BPK Goražde.
The acting prosecutor issued orders for the execution of several evidentiary actions - expert examinations, which will be carried out, among others, by experts from the Federal Police Administration. After the criminal processing, the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of BPK Goražde will decide on the status of the suspects," the MUP of BPK announced.
