
(Patria) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, approved the appointment of ambassadors and diplomats to several diplomatic missions of that country, including Emin Akseki, the new Turkish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
An unnamed diplomatic source announced that the current Deputy Director General for Protocol at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emin Akseki, has been appointed as the new Turkish Ambassador in Sarajevo.
Ambassador Akseki will replace the outgoing Ambassador Sadık Babür Girgin in that position.
The same source announced that, among others, Elif Çomoglu Ulgen has been appointed as the new Turkish Ambassador to Italy, Gökhan Turan is the new Turkish Ambassador to Germany, the current Director General of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Birol Akgün, is the new Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, and Ambassador Hakan Çakıl is the new Turkish envoy to the World Trade Organization.
