(Patria) - American entrepreneur Elon Musk said he is not yet ready to visit the Gaza Strip, as the situation there "seems a bit dangerous," Tass agency reported.
Commenting on Hamas's recent invitation, Musk said on the social network X that "it currently looks a bit dangerous, but I believe a prosperous Gaza in the long term is good for all parties."
Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas official, said on November 20 that Musk should visit Gaza "to see the scale of the massacre committed by the occupier (Israel) against our people."
Musk visited Israel on November 27, where he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog. Musk and Netanyahu visited Kibbutz Kfar Aza, which was among the most affected Israeli communities during Hamas's attack on October 7.
He said he shared Netanyahu's view that Hamas should be eradicated. He also said he would like to help Israel demilitarize and deradicalize Gaza when the conflict ends, Tass reminds.
